Review: Laura Mercier Creme de Pistache Hand Cream

Hi everyone,

I thought I would review for you one of the most delicious scented hand creams I own, and I'm already onto my second one.

If you love the smell of coffee and bakery scents then you might enjoy this hand cream, because thats exactly what the Creme de Pistache fragrance from Laura Mercier smells of.

The hand cream itself has a thick consistency, which sinks into the skin straight away. Its also a hydrating formula. But, it wasn't because of the formula I purchased it, it was because of the scent.

The Creme de Pistache fragrance is made up of coffee, almond, honey, cinnamon, nutmug and cocoa, and this smells heavenly.

If your ever near a Laura Mercier counter, just pop by and have a smell of the Creme de Pistache hand cream, as I promise you; you won't be disappointed.

Fragrance Review: Ghost Enchanted Bloom EDT

Hi everyone,

I thought I would review for you a gorgeous Ghost fragrance that I brought last Summer. I don't usually buy fragrances from Ghost, but this one I just couldn't pass up at the time.

This is a lovely fragrance to wear during the Spring & Summer months, especially during the day as it has a little sweetness too it; which may not be to everybody's taste.

Ghost Enchanted Bloom is a floral fragrance, but thanks to the base notes of the fragrance itself it actually has some depth too it; which gives the scent some added warmth. Rather than it being just a full on sweet fragrance.

This is lovely to wear during the day, but because of the added depth I feel like it could transition easily into the night.

The fragrance itself I feel is a subtle grown up young scent, and would be ideal for anyone whose just getting into fragrance and doesn't want an overpowering scent; or someone who just wants an nice easy fragrance to wear on a daily basis.

But, this fragrance has little downside for myself personally, and that is that it doesn't last on my skin without it being topped up throughout the day. This is mainly due to it being an EDT. Please don't let this put off trying out the fragrance for yourself, as everyone's body chemistry works in a slightly different way. Despite not having a lot of staying power on me it really is a lovely scent, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much as me.

Review: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

Hi everyone,

I thought I would review for you a wonderful multi-use product that has saved my hands from being chapped on a number of occasions.

The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream has saved my hands on a number of occasions , and thats mainly due to the active ingrediant Colloidal Oatmeal.

Colloidal Oatmeal is a fantastic ingredient, especially if you have dry or dehydrated skin, as it helps to get moisture back into the skin.

The Ultra Repair Cream is also fragranced with eucalyptus, so if your sensitive to fragrance then this may not be for you.

Overall, this is a lovely multi-use product and its also an effective product. Its also worth mentioning that my very first tube of this lasted me around two years, and thats mainly because a little goes a long way.

Beauty Haul - May 2016

Hi everyone,

I have been doing a little bit of shopping again, and I thought I would share with you what I have brought.

NYX Butter Lipgloss in 'Vanilla Cream Pie'

This is a lovely neutral pink shade, which is ideal to wear everyday. I decided to get myself a third butter lipgloss as I really like the formula, and for lip glosses these are quite pigmented, which I was pleasently surprised about.

NYX Prismatic Eyeshadow in 'Mermaid'

This is a lovely aqua blue/ green eyeshadow, with a gorgeous duocrome effect. I haven't tried this eyeshadow yet, but this is one I'm looking forward to using as it would be lovely to wear during Spring/ Summer.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks in 34 & 35

These are one of my favourite lipstick formulas, so I decided to add a couple of more shades to my collection. 34 is a peach coral shade, and 35 is a lavender pink shade (the photo really doesn't this one justice). The shade 35 is an unusual shade for me to pick, as I don't own anything like this, and 34 is a lovely Spring/ Summer shade.

Eucerin DermoPurifyer Cleanser & Toner

I thought I would pick these up as my Bosica Purifying Cleansing Gel isn't far from running out, and so is my Serozinc from La Roche-Posey. So, I thought these would be ideal to replace them with once they run out. I've never tried anything from Eucerin before, but I'm actually looking forward to using these as they contain Lactic acid, which is something I've never used in my skincare routine before.

Body Shop Absinthe Purifying Handwash

I actually picked two of these up, and I'm happy I did as its the best handwash I've ever used. This handwash makes your hands sqeeky clean, but it also adds a little moisturisation afterwards. This is one I would highly recommend.

Clinque Pep-Start Eye Cream

This eye cream is a little life saver, as I was having a mild reaction to the other eye cream I was using beforehand. It's actually helping to moisturise my sensitive under eyes.

Clinque Moisture Surge Moisturiser

I've always wanted to give this a try, since its getting a lot of hype at the moment. But, this may help to sort out a couple of dry patches on my skin. I want to use this as part of my night time skincare routine, but I have two other moisturisers to use beforehand.

Gucci Bamboo EDP 50ml

I ended up smelling this when it was fairly new to the fragrance market, and I have wanted to purchase it ever since. This is lovely, light, fruity fragrance thats gorgeous to wear during the warmer months. This scent is heavenly, especially if you like floral fruity scents.

Fragrance Review: Georgio Armani Si EDP

Hi everyone,

I thought I would review for you a fragrance, which I have recently added to my fragrance collection; and its fast becoming one of my favourite scents to wear.

This is a lovely fragrance to wear all year round, and it would be wonderful to wear on a night out. The Georgio Armani Si fragrance has lovely warmth, that justs ever-so-slightly undercuts the sweetness of the scent, which makes this a grown up sweet scent; as it isn't sickly sweet, which I know some fragrances can be.

When this fragrance first came out I didn't really take too it, and it wasn't until megsmakeup8 mentioned it in her 'Perfume Collection' video that I wanted to try it again, and its when I tried it again that I actually fell in love with the scent, and like I said at the beginning its fast becoming one of my favourite scents to wear. So, I actually owe Megan a great big 'Thank you', as this isn't something I usually go for scent wise.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Sicilian Bergamont, Mandarin Oil, Liquer de Cassis

Middle: Rose de Mai Absolute, Neroli Absolute, Egyptian Jasmine Absolute
Bottom: Patchouli Oil, Blond Woods, Amber, Orcanoxa, Vanille Absolute

I hope you enjoyed reading this review of Georgio Armani Si, and please go and check out Megan's lovely Youtube channel, as I think you'll love her just as much I do and pick up some great ideas along way.
