Product Empties - August 2014

Hi everyone,

Its product empties time again.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Shower Gel
It took me forever to use this up, due to the fact that you get a lot of product for your money. I really enjoyed using this at first, as the scent was delightful. But, as I got towards the end of the product I just got fed up of using it. I'm also unsure if I would buy this again in the future.

The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel
Where do I start with this one. The scent is 'out of this world', especially for anyone who loves citrus scents, and it also has a fantastic lather. Its also worth mentioning that a little bit goes a long way, and I would buy it again.

Neutrogena T-Gel Therapeutic Shampoo
I've had countless bottles of this over the years, and its only thing that will sort my scalp out when its having a bit of an S.O.S moment. This is one product that I will definitely continue to buy.

The Body Shop Coconut Shower Cream
This is a lovely creamy shower gel, and the fragrance of this is divine. It also has a lovely creamy lather. I also have a back up of this, and I will repurchase this again.

Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Pocketbac Hand Sanitiser
As much I love the Pocketbacs from Bath & Body Works; I really didn't like this one, and that was mainly due to the scent.

Victoria's Secret Pear Glace Hydrating Body Lotion
This is a lovely body lotion to use during the Summer months; as its light in texture and also extremely hydrating. The scent of this is slightly fruity, and it also lingers for a little while. I will repurchase this again in the near future.

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo & Conditioner
This is a lovely shampooo and conditioner combination, and I also get quite a bit of volume in my hair after using this. They also left my hair feeling silky soft, and very clean. Also, due to the oils that they put in the shampoo and conditioner it made my hair feel very luxourious, as well as more manageable. I will buy this again in the future, but I'm currently working my way through a different shampoo and conditioner.

Impulse True Love Body Spray
I've used Impluse body sprays for years, and the scent of this is lovely. The fragrance is Freesia and Tangerine, so on the sweet and fruity side. I think I've gone through about three bottles of this over the past few months, and I will buy it again; but I'm trying something different at the moment.

DKNY Woman 30ml EDT
I've had this bottle of fragrance since I was at college, and it was now time to get rid of it as I think the scent had started to "go off". I don't think I will be buying it again anytime soon.

I went for the light formula of the Morroccan Oil hair treatment as my hair is very fine, but I have loads of it. I only really need to use this when my hair is need of some extra TLC.

I use this after I have washed my hair and towelled dried it. I then take a pea-sized amount in the palm of my hand, and then warm it up between the palms of my hands before I run it through the ends of my hair. I then just leave my hair to dry natually. Once my hair dry it feels soft to the touch and silky smooth.

The small 25ml bottle is around £15 in the UK

Products I Would Repurchase #1

Hi everyone,

I thought I would a products I would repurchase post, as I have never done one of these before.

Caudalie Gentle Cleansing Milk
I've been using the Caudalie Gentle Cleansing Milk for around twelve months. It has a light and creamy texture, as well as being very hydrating. I like to message this into my skin for around two minutes and remove it using a warm flannel. This leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth and silky soft.

Simple Soothing Toner
I've been using this toner for around six months, and I really like this because its extremely gentle on the skin, and also refreshing to use.

Urban Decay Deslick Make Up Setting Spray
I like to use this before I apply my make up, and then reapply once I've applied my foundation and base, and then I use it for a final time once I have completed my make up. I like this as it keeps my oily T-zone at bay, as well as helping my make up to stay on all day without any touch ups throughout the day.

The Body Shop Coconut Creamy Body Scrub
I absolutely love this body scrub, as its gritty; as well as being gentle at the same time. The scent of this is gorgeous, and definatly one to try if you're a fan of coconut scents.

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Wash
The scent of this smells as if you have hit with an orange tree. Also, a little bit goes a long way and it lathers up really nice. I like this as its just a really nice body wash to use.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil
I had never used a cleansing oil before I had purchased this, and this stuff really makes a difference when you're taking your make up at the end of the day. Its quick and simple to use, and once you have removed your make up with this cleansing oil your skin feels silky soft and hydrated.

Simple Cleansing Facial Cleansing Wipes
These are great if you just want to remove your make up quickly. I find these facial wipes to be very gentle and effective at taking make up off. I only use on the rare occassion that I need to take my make up off quickly without doing a whole facial.

The Body Shop Peppermint Foot Spray
I have gone through countless bottles of this throughtout the years. The scent is lovely, and once applied it makes your feet feel as if your walking on a cloud.

Aveda Scalp Benefits Shampoo
I'm currently on my second bottle of this shampoo, and I love it. I use this once a week due to it being a clarifying shampoo; not only does it give my hair a through cleanse, but it adds quite a bit of volume.

Ojon Restorative Treatment Plus Hair Mask
I've only been using this mask a few months, but I love how it makes my hair feel after I have used this. I'm not a fan of the scent, but the product itself is fantastic. I can run this mask through the ends of my hair, and then just leave it in to do its magic. I think the longest I've left this mask in my hair is around two and half hours, and my hair felt extremely silky smooth after I had washed it out.

Review: Glamglow Youthmud Face Mask

Hi everyone,

I have been using the Glamglow face mask for around two months, and I thought I would share my thoughts on it.

I really like to use this mask only on my T-zone, as that is get oily the most. I place a thin layer of the Glamglow mask on my T-zone and leave it on for about 10 minutes before removing it with a hot flannel.

After using this mask I have noticed that my skin isn't as oily, and also that its very soft to touch; as well as being very clean and purified.

The Glamglow mask contains ingrediants such as French sea clay, volcanic pumice, lavender, camomile, and crushed green tea leaves. Its also 100% paraben-free, cruelty free, as well as being suitable for vegans.
