Review: Victoria's Secret Pure Daydream Body Butter

This is a lovely product from the Victoria's Secret Fantansies range, as its thick, creamy and very luxurious.

I find that I need to use the smallest amount of the body butter; as a little goes a long way. It's also very hydrating on the skin, which you may not feel straight away, but I can say that I noticed a difference on my skin the following day. It also makes the skin feel very soft and smooth, as well as sinks in fairly quickly.

Onto the scent, what can I say apart from it smells divine. Pure Daydream is one of my favourite scents from the VS Fantasies range, along with 'Such a Flirt'. The scent of Pure Daydream is pearl orchid and pink current. Also, the scent does linger on the skin for a few hours after applying the body butter, but it smells heavenly.

Products I've Used Up No.3

Dove Silk Glow Nourishing Body Wash
Another lovely shower gel from Dove, & very moistuising. But, again I wasn't keen on the fragrance, which is a shame as they are really nice in the shower.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir
This is great for refreshing your face throughout the day, but the scent can sometimes be overpowering, due to the peppermint oil. It's a nice product, but it's nothing special.

Olay Essentials Wet Cleansing Wipes
These are nice face wipes, & they do take make up off fairy easily. I'd still advise you to do a full facial/ skin care routine after using these just to make sure that they no traces of make up left on the skin.

Lush Twilight Shower Gel
This came out last Christmas as a limited edition shower gel, & the scent smells like a spa as its got lavender in it. It's a warm and cosy shower gel, & its great for the cold nights. I hope Lush bring it out again this Christmas.

Products I've Used Up No.2

Imperial Leather Sublime Star Flower & Pomegranate Shower Cream
This was a limited edition shower gel that Imperial Leather came out with during the summer, & I really enjoyed using it, as it was very creamy and it gave off a good lather. The scent was amazing & I hope they release it again next year, as I wouldn't mind repurchasing this again.

The Body Shop Peppermint Foot Spray
This is an excellent foot spray, as its very cooling on the feet. Once sprayed on your feet, it feels as if your walking on a cloud

Aveda Pure Abundance Shampoo
This is meant to be a volumising shampoo, but that didn't happen with me. It gave me no volume in my hair whatsoever. So, I will not buying it again

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
I love this body scrub, as it gets the job without being harsh on the skin. The scent is amazing, especially if you like the idea of smelling like a cocktail.

M&S Pure Red Grape & Raspberry Fruit Juice
I know this is a weird one, but this fruit juice is gorgeous. Especially on a really hot day. It tastes fantastic, & I'd highly recommend anyone to try it

Products I've Used Up No.1

Laura Mercier Hand Cream Sample
I was given a sample of the Laura Mercier Creme de Pistache hand cream to try, & I absolutely loved it. So much so that I've got a full size tube of it. This is a really luxurious hand cream, and the scent is divine.

Sure Woman Long Lasting Protection Radiant Anti-Perspirant
I've repurchased this deodorant countless times, as I really like the fragrance of this, which is peach and wild raspberry.

Vaseline Active Fresh Anti-Perspirant
I wasn't keen on this deodorant at all, and I won't be buying it again. Also, I didn't like the fragrance.

Herbal Essences Dazzling Shine Shampoo
I did like this shampoo, especially the scent. It cleaned my hair quite well, but its just a basic shampoo.

Dove Cream Oil Nourishing Body Wash
This is a lovely shower gel, & very moisturising. But, I really didn't like the fragrance, as its quite musky for my liking.

James Martin Cookery Demonstration Experience

On the 26th August I went to see James Martin do a cookery demonstration, as part of the annual Bolton Food & Drink Festival. The cookery demonstrations take place in the Festival Marquee and it is a ticketed event.

During the cookery demonstration James made three dishes, and they were: -
1.) Chicken in a French White Stew
2.) Cod in White Sauce with Radish, Bacon and Thyme
3.) Vodka Panna Cotta with a Raspberry Sauce served with Sugared Donuts

James is brilliant at doing cookery demonstrations, as he lets you into all the secrets of 'Saturday Kitchen', as well as providing the audience with a good giggle along the way.

After the cookery demonstration they was a book signing and photo opportunity, which I happily took part in.

Review: Yorkshire Punch

This is the nicest drink I've ever come across, and I've craving this again for months.

Yorkshire Punch has a base of purified water, which is then infused with Mother Nature's finest herbs and natural ingredients. All of the ingredients have been specially chosen due to the added health benefits of each individual ingredient.
The natural ingredients for Yorkshire Punch are bilberry, camomile, caraway, celery seeds, cinnamon, cloves, elderflower, ginger, lavender, fennel seeds, hops, poppy seeds, rosemary and thyme.

To drink Yorkshire Punch I'd recommend that you half fill a tumbler glass, and then place it in the microwave for between 30 seconds to a minute; depending on the Watt of your microwave. I'd also recommend that you have this about an hour before you go to bed, just so then you give this little of natural goodness time to work its magic.

To purchase Yorkshire Punch; please visit www.quiggins.co.uk. They only come in a quantity of either 6 or 12 bottles.

For 6 bottles of Yorkshire Punch is £34.50 plus delivery charges
For 12 bottles of Yorkshire Punch is £54.50 plus delivery charges
