Review: Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment

Hi everyone,

I thought I would review for you the Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment, which I have been using for the past few months.

I have been using the Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment as my night time moisturiser, and I have noticed a difference as my skin feels a lot more hydrated than what it did previously. It also has a gorgeous tropical coconut fragrance, which smells delicious.

The Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment has a fairly thick consistency, but once it has been applied to the skin its actually rather lightweight.

As well as a moisturiser, you can also use this as a 20 minute intensive rehydrating mask; by applying a thick layer to your face, and then just leave it on for twenty minutes.

Claims

- To hydrate, restore, replenish, as well as to calm the skin
- Provides deep and instant hydration for short, medium and long term results
- Ideal for dry and dehydrated skin

Lancome & Laura Mercier Haul

Hi everyone,

I've recently purchased a few items from both Lancome and Laura Mercier, and I thought that I would just combine them into one haul.

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in 'Azalea'
This is a gorgeous cool toned baby pink shade, the lip glaces from Laura Mercier have a sweet vanilla scent. This is one lip gloss that I'm looking forward to wearing, as I've nothing but good reviews.

Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lipsticks in 'Antique Pink' & 'Strawberry Sorbet'
Every time I was looking through the Laura Mercier products online; these kept on jumping out at me, and I have no idea why. So, I decided to pick up two different shades. The first shade is 'Antique Pink' (centre) is a warmed toned pink with a mauve undertone, and I've got a feeling this one is going to suit my natural lip colour, as this seems like a dark, neutral pink shade. The second shade is 'Strawberry Sorbet', and this is a red coral shade with a pink undertone to add a bit of brightness. I'm really looking forward to trying these as I haven't heard anything about them.

Lancome Le Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour SPF15 Foundation in 010
This is a lovely light feeling foundation with a medium coverage, but this can be built up to full coverage if needed. The foundation iself evens out your natural skin tone, as well as providing a semi-matte finish. I was colour matched to the shade 010, as this is nearest to my natural skin tone.

Lancome Rouge In Love Lipstick in 232M Rose'Mantic
I've been wanting to try one of these lipsticks since they have been released, as they apply glossy but dry down to a matte finish. I decided to get the shade 232M Rose'Mantic, as it seemed the most neutral pink shade.

Sally's Hair & Beauty Haul

Hi everyone,

Here's my first of many Sally's Hair & Beauty haul, and this is because Sally's has just recently opened a store in my local town. All of the things I purchased was done over a period of three or four visits to Sally's.

Schwarkoft Silhouette Pure Formula Invisible Hold Hairspray in Stong Hold & Flexible Hold

I thought I would give these a whirl, as I've heard quite a bit of 'hype' around these recently. I originally picked up the flexible hold hairspray, and then I went back to pick up the strong hold hairspray, as it was recommended too me while I purchasing the flexible hold hairspray.

TIGI Catwalk Honey & Oatmeal Shampoo & Conditioner
I have been wanting to try this shampoo and conditioner for quite a while, but I could never find it anywhere. The Oatmeal & Honey shampoo and conditioner is for dry and damaged hair, as well as being safe for people who colour their hair. These also smell delicious, and I can't wait to start using these.

Schwarkoft BC Bonacure Scalp Therapy Dandruff Control Shampoo
The Sxhwarkoft Scalp Therapy Dandruff shampoo is a lovely, gentle formula, and it feels as of doing something good for your hair. I usually use T-Gel, but this is far more gentle and it also has a pleasing lemongrass scent. I've only used it a couple of times but so far, so good.

L'Oreal Professional Sensi-Balance Dermo Protector Soothing Shampoo
I thought it would be nice to try out a high end balancing/clarifying shampoo. I haven't used a high end clarifying shampoo for a while. The L'Oreal Sensi-Balance shampoo is also ideal for those who have a sensitive scalp, and it also offers a clean, fresh fragrance.

OSMO Intensive Deep Repair Mask
I picked this up to try, as I was in pinch at the time and also needed a new hair mask to tie myself over, just until I get something just a little better. This is quite an unusual hair mask because sometimes it'll work, and at other times it won't. I will continue to use this up, but I don't think I will be purchasing it again in the future.

L'Oreal Professional Intensive Repair Mask
This was the hair mask that I was originally was going to purchase, before I brought the OSMO one. I'm really looking forward to using this, not only because its a quick 3 - 5 minute hair mask, but because this smells absolutely delicious. The fragrance reminds me of the rhubarb and custard sweets.

TIGI Bed Head After Party
I had this recommended to me years ago, and I have never got around to purchasing it until now. The Bed Head After Party is a smoothing cream, which helps to tame any fly aways. It also has a lovely fruity fragrance.

Sally's 4cm Mini Hair Grips & 5cm String Hair Grips x2 in Brown
Just because you can never have enough hair grips.

I used to visit Sally's on a regular basis while I was at college, and I had forgotten how good it was. So, its great that we now have one in my local town centre, and I have received nothing but friendly and excellent customer service.

Fragrance Review: Gucci Bamboo EDP

Hi everyone,

I thought I would review for you one of the latest additions to my fragrance collection.

I've had my eye on purchasing this fragrance ever since it came out last year, and it has now finally made its way into my fragrance collection.

Gucci Bamboo is a lovely, light floral fragrance with a subtle added depth. Once it has been first sprayed it goes on fairly sweet, but once it has warmed up on the skin a little bit the depth of the fragrance starts to come through, and it actually smells rather different than when it has first been sprayed.

Gucci Bamboo is a gorgeous fragrance to wear during the warmer months, as it is quite a fresh scent.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Italian Bergamont, Orange Blossom

Middle: Casablanca Lily, Ylang Ylang
Bottom: Deep Sandalwood, Tahitian Vanilla and unique grey Amber accord
