Luxury Beauty Haul

Guerlain

I've been wanting these two products since last month; after I tried them on my skin and I really liked the way they looked.

I brought the:-
- Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder in Blonde (02)
- Precious Light Rejurventating Illumatator in 01; & not only has the added benefit of having an eye treatment included, but it also contains small reflective particles of gold.

Space NK

Laura Mercier Souffle Body Creme Sampler Collection £40

This comes out every year to form part of the Laura Mercier Christmas Collection. This set includes 4 sample sizes of their famous souffle body cremes and each jar weighs 100g/4oz. The scents that are included within the set are:-
- Almond Coconut Milk
- Ambre Vanilla
- Creme de Pastache
- Fresh Fig
All the scents actually remind me of ice cream, due to them smelling sweet and good enough to eat.

I actually brought this set for myself, so then I could try the body cremes before I commit to buying a full size one. The full size body cremes cost around £40 each.

Diptyque Candle in Mimosa £40

I brought this as a small travel candle earlier on this year, as I just wanted to see what the candles were like; and I enjoyed this scent so much I've now repurchased this candle in a bigger size. I also repurchased it due to craving the scent for months.

The Mimosa candle is brilliant to burn during the Spring/ Summer months (or anytime of year), as it makes the room smell like a fresh fruit cocktail. To me this candle is heaven.

Jo Malone

English Pear & Freesia 30ml Cologne £39

I actually brought this as a home candle a couple of years ago, and I just feel in love with the scent; as its the perfect Spring fragrance due to it having light floral and fruity notes.

It's a very delicate and wearable fragrance that you wear throughout the year; no matter what the season.

Bobbi Brown

Shimmer Brick in Beige £32.50

I've been on the hunt for a really nice highlighter for a few months & I asked at the Bobbi Brown counter if I could try this; & its exactly what I've been looking for, which is as a natural champagne highlighter.

Sheer Lip Colour in Rosy £19
This is another cheeky purchase I made after watching essiebutton's Bobbi Brown Brand Focus video. Estee if you're reading this; the girl at the Bobbi Brown counter had nothing but praise for your Brand Focus.

Anyway, I asked if I could try this lipstick before buying it, as I don't usually wear red lipstick at all due to having a fair complexion (B20, for reference). How quick did my opinion changed; as this lipstick is a subtle rosy red with a slight orange undertone, which is perfect for me. If you've got a pale complexion & finding it hard to find a lovely red lipstick, then this may be the one for you.

Blush in 18 Desert Pink £18I originally wanted to get the shade Apricot, but it was a little too bright for my complexion. So, I decided on the shade Desert Pink.

Desert Pink is a gorgeous natural pale pink, which is ideal for people who don't like bright blush colours. It gives the cheeks a lovely delicate hint of pink, as well as looking natural.

Slattery's Haul

Slattery's milk chocolate is heaven, as its very smooth and creamy. I discovered this while drinking my hot chocolate in the dining room.

After I had eaten I went to do a spot of Slattery's shopping; as you do when you visit Slattery's, and this what I came out with:-

- A milk chocolate lolly
- A chocolate & caramel tart (I'd already eaten it before I took the photo)
- A bag of luxury hot chocolate
- 12 milk chocolate Slattery's discs
- 2 stir in hot chocolate sticks
- A Christmas Spice candle

The Slattery's store doesn't just sell chocolate. They sell cakes, cordials, cake making materials, fresh bread, ice cream, and also salads and sandwiches.

The Slattery's store is defiantly worth checking out if your ever in the Whitefield area of Manchester.

The Slattery's Experience

I went to Slattery's , which is based in Whitefield, Manchester; to have one their famous lunches inside their very own dining room.

To eat, I had an ham and cheese simple sandwich with all the trimmings, and to accompany that I had one their famous milk chocolate hot chocolates. After I had eaten I then finished off with a glass of their very own champagne.

The food was delish; and the hot chocolate is out of this world, and is one of the best I've ever had.

The hot chocolate is available in three varieties; white, milk and dark. It's a choc-a-holics dream and it comes highly recommended.

If you would like to dine in at Slattery's Mason Dining Room it's recommended that you book in advanced, due to the popularity of the well known Slattery's name.

To make a reservation at Slattery's please call 0161 767 9303, and if you fancied taking a peek at the Mason Dining Room Menu then you can visit their website at www.slattery.co.uk

Tea Haul

I've been in two minds whether or not to try the Teapigs teabags for a good few months, but I've now decided to take the plunge and go for it; especially after seeing essiebutton's 'Tea Haul' video on YouTube.

My first two Teapigs purchases were made at the Harvey Nichols Food Market pop up store inside the Trafford Centre.
I brought a box of Liquorice and Peppermint teabags, and also a box of Green Tea with Mint teabags; as I discovered green tea with mint while I was on holiday earlier on this month.

My second lot of Teapigs teabags was placed online through the Teapigs website; and lets just say I was a little spoilt for choice of what to buy, as they have such a wide variety of tea to choose from.
Here's what I purchased via their website: -

- Another two boxes of Green Tea with Mint
- A box of Lemongrass Tea
- A box of Jasmine Pearls Tea (quite expensive at nearly £6 per box)
- Two sample boxes of Silver Tips White Tea

Teapigs only use whole leaf in their teabags, as its the finest and best quality tea you can buy on the market.

The standard size boxes of tea contains 15 biodegradable tea temples. The sample boxes contains two biodegradable tea temples. Also, some of their most popular tea choices such as the Liquorice and Peppermint come in boxes of 50.

Go and have a look at the Teapigs website, and see what tealious treats awaits you.
