Review: Purito Pure Vitamin C Serum

 Hi everyone,

I have recently just started to use the Purito Pure Vitamin C Serum, as part of my evening skincare routine.

Claims
- Purito Vitamin C serum is a perfect product to recharge your skin. The brightening serum with 5% Vitamin C & 84% hyaluronic acid along with natural niacinamide & red ginseng is perfect to rejuvenate the skin
- The serum relieves acne scars, dark circles & freckles along with whitening effects. It also promotes the effects of ant-ageing
- Ensures clear tone & firm healthy skin the following day
- Contains 5% Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)

This is a lovely, lightweight Vitamin C serum that sinks into the skin straight away. I have been using Vitamin C products for years, but this is the only one so far that I have experienced a slight tingling sensation once it has been applied to my skin. So, if you have sensitive skin this might not be the product for you due to the tingling sensation. The tingling sensation is due to this product containing 5% Ascorbic acid, which is the variant of Vitamin C used in this serum.

Purito also recommend to use one to two pumps of their Vitamin C serum, which I find to be more than enough as it does sink into the skin more or less straight away.

This is a lovely Vitamin C serum to use, and a great introduction into serums and facial oils that contain a slightly higher percentage of Ascorbic acid than what my not be easily accessible on the high street (at least for the moment).

Also, apologies for the photo as this serum does come with separate pump and it was supposed to be included on the photo. But, I knocked off the bottle while I was in the bathroom and the pump broke. I did try to fix it, but with no luck. So, I've transferred the serum to another skincare bottle which I had due to it being such a lightweight serum.

Review: Heimish All Clean Balm

 Hi everyone,

I have recently started to use the Heimish All Clean Balm as part of my evening skincare routine, and I'm really enjoying using it.

Claims
- Heimish All Clean Balm is a solid balm that transforms into a silky oil cleanser on the skin, and it then turns into a milky texture once you add water
- The soft & lightweight texture removes make up & residue without stripping the skin of it's natural oils.
- Formulated with citrus herb oils to naturally brighten & nourish the skin
- Suitable for all skin types

I'm really enjoying using this cleansing balm as part of my evening skincare routine, as it does a really good at cleansing the skin. It also leaves the skin feeling both nourished and hydrated once it has been removed using a hot cloth. It also smells delightful and very spa like, which gives it a more luxurious feel and adds to the experience.

Also, you only need to use a little bit of this cleansing balm at a time, as a little bit goes a long way.

I never understood the hype around this cleansing balm until I started to use it personally, as its not only just a lovely product to use, but it is also budget friendly.

Review: Vichy Mineral 89 for Eyes

 Hi everyone,

I have just started to use the Vichy Mineral 89 for Eyes as part of my evening skincare routine. I'm also using the Vichy Mineral 89 serum as part of my morning skincare routine.

Claims
- Mineral 89 Eyes is a hyaluronic acid booster that hydrates, smooths & brightens the delicate eye area.
- Helps to reduce the appearance of eye bags, dark circles & fine lines
- Protects the skin barrier
- Formulated with caffeine, natural origin hyaluronic acid, Adenosine & 89% Vichy Thermal Mineralising water
- The fresh, light texture is pleasant to apply & absorbs into the complexion instantly, leaving it hydrated but not greasy, sticky or shiny

This is a lovely product to use under the delicate eye area, due to its lightweight consistency. I find that every time I use this product my eyes feels instantly refreshed and hydrated. It also has a very slight cooling effect, which is also lovely.

I've also found that this product doesn't irritate my delicate eye area, which is what some other eye creams have done in the past. It sinks into the eye area more or less instantly, and it gives it an instant boost of hydration. I also don't need to use a lot of this product to get the full benefits, a little bit goes a very long way with this under eye serum.

I've noticed my under eye area now feels a lot more plump and hydrated, and in overall better health. The only thing that I have done is switched to this product.

This is a lovely under eye product for anyone whose looking to add an extra boost of hydration, and its also a nice budget friendly option for anyone who looking for a nice eye serum, but isn't too sure what to look for. Due to it being lightweight formula it's also beginner friendly, and you don't need much of this product at all.

Superdrug Haul

 Hi everyone,

I have recently been doing a little shopping in Superdrug, and this time around I've picked up all of the 'Superdrug' own branded products. Some of which have only just been released, and two products that I have been trying to get hands on, but every time I went in they were always sold out.

Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser
I have just recently used up the Vitamin E Hot Cloth cleanser from Superdrug, so I wanted to give the Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth a go to see if its any better/ different from the Vitamin E Hot Cloth cleanser. Also, the Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth cleanser has received really good reviews over the years.

Naturally Radiant 2 in 1 Moisturiser & Serum
I love using serums in my skincare routine, so I thought I would give this one a try. I've only tried it on the back of my hand so far, and it seems to have a gel cream consistency as well as intense warming feeling due to the glycolic acid. It could be a different experience once it has been applied to face and I have used it properly to get a feeling of what this product actually does.

Naturally Radiant Renewing Night Cream
It has been ages since I have used a standard night cream, but I thought I would pick this one up as I am exploring more of 'Superdrug's' skincare ranges. This does contain glycolic acid, so I'm hoping that it will be just a small amount per use. As I don't actually use glycolic acid on a nightly basis, as I don't want to over exfoliate my skin.

B. Hydrated Leave On Face Mask
This to me seems to be an overnight face mask, which my skin absolutely loves and has done for many years. This is the first time that I have noticed a purse friendly version, and I'm really looking forward to using this once my current night time moisturiser runs out.

Superdrug Extracts Avocado & Manuka Honey Shampoo & Conditioner
This is the product from Superdrug that I have been struggling to get a hold of for a good few months. I have used the shampoo and conditioner, and all I can say is that both of these are lovely and they also smell great. They leave my hair feeling soft and nourished, and also in a really nice condition.

Superdrug Extracts Watermelon & Mint 3 in 1 Hair Mask
This has only just recently been launched as part of their extracts range, and they also have two other hair masks. The Watermelon & Mint hair mask really appealed to me because it sounded delicious. It smells delightful, and I'm really looking forward to using this hair mask once I have gone through a few of my others.

I'm really looking forward to using and exploring the products that I have recently picked up from Superdrug, and seeing how I can incorporate them into my skincare and hair care routines.

Review: Vichy Aqualia Thermal Gel Cream Moisturiser

 Hi everyone,

I have recently started to use the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Gel Cream as part of my morning skincare routine, and I'm really enjoying using it as part routine as its the first moisturiser from Vichy that I have tried.

Claims
- An intense & long lasting gel cream for normal/ combination skin types that provides up to 48 hours of hydration
- Targets moisture loss by rehydrating normal/ combination skin with an intense & long lasting daily formula inspired by isotonic rehydration
- 97% of ingredients are sourced from natural origin
- Intense hydration for up to 48 hours
- Fine lines appear reduced
- Enriched with 15% Vichy Mineralising Thermal Water
- The formula is enriched with mineral salts, naturally sourced hyaluronic acid & plant sugar mannose that works to lock in moisture & also reduce water loss
- Complexion is left feeling dewy, fresh & hydrated

This is a lovely, lightweight gel cream formula that sinks into the skin straight away, and it gives the skin a boost of hydration. Once it has been applied it leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and also very hydrated throughout the day. It also has a very subtle fragrance that smells similar to Nivea products.

My skin loves a good gel cream moisturiser, as it is combination skin; which can sometimes be a bit of a pain to find products that not only cleanse the skin without stripping it of any its natural oils, but to then products that will add hydration back into the skin without being too heavy and taking a long time to sink in.

I'm really impressed with this gel cream moisturiser from Vichy, as its working wonderfully with my combination skin and adds a boost of hydration that leaves my skin feeling both refreshed and moisturised throughout the day.
