My 2018 Personal Planner Overview

Hi everyone,

For 2018 I thought I would invest in a personal planner from www.personal-planner.com, as everything from the front and back covers, and also the layout inside is completely customisable to suit you and your needs. So I thought I would share with you my own personal planner. I've gone for the A5 size, as its the size that works best for my me, but they do have a choice of five planner sizes.

This is the cover that I have chosen for my 2018 planner, and its one of Personal Planners patterned designs. But you can have whatever you want as your front and back covers, as Personal Planner will let you upload your own photos. You can also choose where want to place the text at the front if you choose to have any text, as well as how opaque you want the the text to be on the front. You can also chose what colour elastic you want to help keep your planner closed.

This is the first cover in the inside of the planner, and this is where you can add a quote or something that is meaningful to you. Also at the bottom of the page you can also choose to add your address, email and/ or phone number just in case the planner gets misplaced. Also you can the colour and also the placement of the font. All of this page is customisable to you, or you can leave it completely blank.

This is a monthly overview that I have chosen to have in my planner. But this is an option towards the end of designing your planner, as the monthly overview takes up 24 pages of the extra pages you choose to have at the end of the planner. But this is one option I'd strongly recommend you getting especially if your into forward planning.

This is the layout of my planner, which is option 2 when choosing the layout. They have a choice of five different layouts, and they have endless choices on what you can do with your layout once you have chosen it. The layout options include lines at the top of the page, lines at the bottom of the page, coloured strips, completely blank. Personal Planner also has options so then you can have a box for working hours, training boxes or weather for that day. Also while you are choosing how you like your layout to be on the inside, you can also choose what colour of ruler you would like. I've just gone for a clear one, as its the one that I thought would best for the design I have chosen. At the bottom you can choose three or four modules depending on the size of the planner you have chosen. I have just gone for two modules of lines, and also a blank module. But for the modules you can have anything from exams that week, this weeks dinners, things to do, grid, lined, blank, pre school hours, list, graph, tune, there's quite a few other things to choose from for the modules.

You also have quite number of things to do with the back pages. For my planner I have chosen to have a yearly overview of 2018, lined paper and blank paper. But they are other options such yearly overviews for 2018 and 2019, atlas, sudoko, colouring pages, lined paper, graph paper, dotted paper, and also blank paper. They even have teacher pages. Also with this planner you can choose what month you would like it start in.

When you receive your personal planner you also get a sheet of colourful stickers, a very durable top opening pocket that you can fit into the planner wherever you want, the colour of ruler you have chosen, as well as the colour of elastic you have chosen.

Postage and taxes are also included in the price.

Kiehl's Haul 2017

Hi everyone,

I have been getting more interested in the Kiehl's skincare line. Some of these are repurchases as I really enjoy using them in my skincare routines, and some of these are completely new and I have never tried them before.

Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash
I have heard really good things about the Calendula face wash from Kiehl's, and its meant to be fantastic for people who have oily to combination skin. It also smells like lemons, which means it should be refreshing when I'm using it.

Cucumber Herbal Alcohol Free Toner
The Cucumber Herbal Alcohol Free toner is ideal for all skin types. Its also meant to be a little hydrating. I'm looking forward to using this in my skincare routine.

Midnight Recovery Concentrate
I have decided to repurchase the Midnight Recovery Concentrate as my skin hasn't been responding to the anti-redness serums/ oils that I'm currently using. When I was using this my skin was a lot better and more naturally glowy. I have even purchased the larger size, as its better value for money than the smaller 30ml bottle.

Daily Reviving Concentrate
I love this as part of my morning skincare routine, and I'm nearly out of my current bottle. So I have decided to repurchase the larger bottle, so it hopefully last me about a year as you only need to use a small amount.

Both of these oils are worth the hype, as they do work but you need to give them a bit of time. I would highly recommend both of these oils to anyone.

Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Mask
This is an overnight hydrating mask from Kiehl's, but I don't use it like that. I use it more as a moisturiser top up during the day if and when my skin needs a moisture boost, and I have found that it works extremely well for that. Also, a little bit goes a long way.

Ultra Facial Moisturiser 75ml
I have recently finished using the Ultra Facial Cream, so I thought I would try the Ultra Facial Moisturiser as its lighter in consistency and not as heavy as the cream, I have also been told that you can also use this as a make up base.

Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
I have decided that I will give the Creamy Eye Treatment another go. I used this years ago and I didn't like it at the time, but I am willing to try it again once my current eye cream runs out.

I'm really looking forward to using all of my products from Kiehl's, and to see if they will benefit my skin even more in the long term.

Review: REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial

Hi everyone,

I have been using the REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial as my serum step in my Sunday skincare routine, and I thought I would review it for you.

The REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial delivers on these benefits to the skin. These benefits are:-
- Exfoliation
- Reinvigoration
- Essential hydration

Also the REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial delivers a three phase treatment while you sleep. The three phase treatment helps to gently renew the skin, boosts cell vitality and infuses the skin with plumping moisture.

Phase One - Exfoliation
Blending AHAs lactic and glycolic acid with enzymes to repair uneven texture, support natural cell turnover and reduce surface pigmentation.

Phase Two
This combines glycogen, magnesium and omega oils to energise, revitalise and heal.

Phase Three - Hydration
Sodium lactate gently raises the skins pH and attracts water to the skin to plump and deeply hydrate.

The aim of the three phases process is to leave the skin visibly brighter, more luminous, refined and even toned the following morning.

Benefits
- Skin looks renewed and radiant
- Skin feels softer and smoother
- Skin tone is more even and refined
- Visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles
- Hydrates and nourishes
- Suitable for all skin types except sensitive

This is a light serum that turns into a serum once applied to the skin. I use one pump as my serum step in my Sunday skincare routine. The following morning my skin definatly feels more soft and hydrated. The one thing I will say is that it definatly takes time to get used to this product, and the first couple of times you use this you will feel a slight tingling sensation. But overall I'm really impressed with the REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial, as it does do what it says it should do.

Review: MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator

Hi everyone,

I was in need of buying a gritty exfoliator, as the one I was using previously was due to run out. So, I decided to purchase the Volcanic Ash Exfoliator from MAC, because I had heard loads of good things about it.

The MAC Volcanic Exfoliator comes out of the tube as a thick blob, but once water has been added too it the consistency thins out. Its also a very gritty exfoliator, which means it will slough off any dead skin cells easily.

Claims
- Dual purpose cleansing & exfoliating scrub that blends natural volcanic ash with fine sugar crystals
- Highly effective, mineral rich concentrated formula that refines and unclogs pores, and adds instant moisture
- Leaves skin feeling soft and comfortably clean

Benefits
- Exfoliates skin
- Smoothes skin
- Hydrating
- Controls oil
- For all skin types

Overall, I'm thrilled to bits with this exfoliator and I think it has become my new favourite exfoliator. As its gritty and it does get the job done at removing any dead skin cells from the skins surface.

Sephora Haul

Hi everyone,

I have recently placed an online order with Sephora, and I thought I would share with you what I have purchased. My order did take a little longer than usual to get to me; and within this order I have managed to purchase some stuff that I have had my eye for quite sometime.

Marc Jacobs Reinvented Lip Duo
I have been wanting to try the Marc Jacobs lip products for quite sometime, but I have got around to purhcasing any. So when I stumbled across this lip duo I thought it would be ideal for me try and to see if I like the formula of Marc Jacobs lip products. This little lip duo contains a petit Le Marc Creme lipstick in 'Slow Burn', and also a petit Enamoured Hi-Shine Lip Lacquar in 'Allow Me'.

Sephora Favourites 'Give Me Some Nude Lip' Set
I have been wanting to try a Sephora Favourites lip set for years, and I noticed that they had two versions of the 'Give Me Some Nude Lip' set. This set contains a full size Urban Decay VICE Liquid Lipstick in 'Trivial', Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy in 'Spice Girl', Anastasia Lip Gloss in 'Kristen', Marc Jacobs Enamoured Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer in 'Sugar Sugar', NARS Velvet Lip Glide in 'Bound', and also a Taste Lippie Lingerie Matte Tint in 'Revealed'.

Herbivore True Blue Set
I have heard loads of great things about the skincare brand Herbivore, but I have never tried anything from them. This little duo contains the Lapis facial oil, and also the Blue Tansy AHA & BHA Resurfacing Clarity face mask. I'm really looking forward to using this little set as I think that it will benefit my skin and its current needs.

Tatcha 'The Kyoto Cleanse' Gift Set
This is Tatcha's take on 'double cleansing' and I have heard that both of these products are meant to be excellent. This little set contains the One Step Camilia cleansing oil and also the Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder. It was more of the enzyme powder that I was interested in trying, but they were completely sold out of the travel size on the website, so I decided to purchase the duo instead as it was in stock.

Seisedo Facial Cottons 165 Sheets
I have heard a lot about the Seisedo facial cottons, so I have decided to invest in pack and see whether or not I like them.

Sephora Pro Concealer Brush 57
I have been wanting to try a concealer brush from the Sephora Pro brush line. I really like the look of this concealer brush as its wider than my current concealer brush, and its more densly packed with bristles.

Sephora Pro Foundation Brush 56
I have had my eye on this foundation brush for years, but I have never got around to buying it. This is a bit smaller than my current foundation brush, and it also has a slimer diameter and a slightly different shape.

I'm really looking forward to using my new products from Sephora, and seeing if they work out for me.

Review: Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask

Hi everyone,

I have been using the Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing for quite a while, and I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you.

The Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask is a purifying mask, and this is ideal if you have oily/ combination skin or acne prone skin.
Because this is a purifying mask I was expecting this to be quite harsh, but it wasn't. This is one of the gentlest pore cleansing masks I have used.

Claims
- Cleanses skin from debris, visibly minimises pores and a brighter looking complexion
- Helps to clear blackheads
- Formulated with mineral rich Amazonian white clay to gently draw out oil, dirt and toxins that clog pores
- Oatmeal and Aloe Vera help to soothe the skin

This mask leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without it leaving feeling stripped of its natural oils. I also like this mask because its a gentle purifying mask, so it isn't harsh on the skin.

Collective Beauty Haul

Hi everyone,

I have been doing a bit of shopping recently, but everything in this haul was brought over a few shopping trips.

Body Shop Seaweed Cleansing Gel
I decided to purchase the seaweed cleansing gel as I seem to be going through my Elemis Lime Blossom cleanser rather quickly. So I thought I would try out the seaweed cleansing gel from the Body Shop.

Body Shop Seaweed Toner
To go alongside the seaweed cleansing gel I also decided to get the matching toner. Just to see what its like. In the past I haven't had much luck with the toners on offer from the Body Shop, but I'm willingto give this one a try.

The Seaweed range from the Body Shop is aimed at oily/ combination skin.

Clinique 'Take the Day Off' Cleansing Oil
I decided to give the cleansing oil a try because I really like the 'Take the Day Off' cleansing balm.

Clinique 'Take the Day Off' Cleansing Balm
This has become my favourite cleansing balm, so I decided that I would purchase a 'back up'.

Lancome Tonique Eclat 200ml
The Tonique Eclat from Lancome is a clarifying toner, and this has also received some really good reviews. I decided to pick up the smaller size as I never tried the clarifying toner from Lancome before.

Lancome Energie de Vie Overnight Sleeping Mask
I had a sampe of this when it first came out and I remembered that I really enjoyed using it because of how hydrating it is. So I decided to buy the full size as my night time moisturiser once my other evening moisturisers have been used up.
